President & CEO
Mr. Mai leads all Growth activities for Concept Solutions. He has professional experience spanning multiple industries culminating in a powerful combination of technical knowledge and business acumen. Previously, he spent five years in finance with Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. and six years consulting in the Telecommunications Information Technology field. Mr. Mai holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Johns Hopkins University and an M.S. in Finance from George Washington University.
EVP & Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Krahulec leads all Delivery programs at Concept Solutions. He has served in every role required for full-scale systems development, such as Director of IT, Project Manager, Technical Lead, Database Administrator, Developer, and Data Architect. Mr. Krahulec is experienced in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CMMi processes. Mr. Krahulec holds a B.S. in Management Science and Management from Virginia Tech.
EVP & Chief Information Officer
Mr. Schaberg leads the Support activities for Concept Solutions’ internal operations, including IT, Finance and HR. He has extensive experience in designing and implementing high-availability database systems for the enterprise; functional and technical analysis of mission critical systems; design, testing, performance analysis, and risk assessment. Mr. Schaberg received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Gottlieb provides financial expertise and government contracting experience to further the growth of ConceptSolutions. He first became a CFO in 1994 and has since helped several companies in achieving substantial growth, and has implemented accounting systems on four separate occasions. He has also held several executive roles through his career including Director of Contracts and Director of Human Resources. Mr. Gottlieb holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Maryland.
Human Resources Director
Ms. Saunders has 20 years of experience in the Human Resources field. She has managed many facets of Human Resources from tactical to strategic by partnering with the business, whether small or large, in various industries throughout the DC metro area. She has specialized in areas such as talent management, performance management, total rewards, HRIS. Ms. Saunders has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources and Law from Marymount University.
Chief Technology Officer
Mr Shields has extensive experience in web-based geographic information systems, database design, data management, and deployment. Previously at AOL, Mr. Shields served as the technical lead and designer for a variety of AOL news and entertainment content sites, including CBS and ABC News, CBS and ABC Sports, MTV, Nickelodeon, The Late Show with David Letterman, and Electronic Arts. Mr. Shields studied Information Systems Management at George Mason University.
Client Relations Director
Ms. Mohler has 23 years experience working with the Federal Government. Ms. Mohler served as the Director of the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA’s) Interagency Planning Office where she executed the collaborative processes needed to ensure efficient coordination among all federal partner agencies whose decisions impact for the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen). Previously, Ms. Mohler was Director of the FAA’s NextGen Performance and Outreach Directorate and served as FAA liaison to the NextGen Advisory Committee. She earned an MBA from Johns Hopkins University and a BA from the University of Maryland.
Vice President, Aerospace
Jason Cunha is Vice President for Concept Solutions’ Aerospace sector, a premier provider of mission and decision support systems and professional solutions. Cunha oversees the Concept Solutions Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and adjacent services accounts. He has also served as a Program Manager within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on several highly visible and impactful projects, including those within NextGen and Air Traffic Organization (ATO). Prior to that, Cunha spent a decade in commercial and business aviation operations. Cunha is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and earned a bachelor’s degree in Management and a master’s degree in International Commerce and Public Policy from George Mason University.
Business Development Manager
Mr. Antonucci leads market analysis, business development, and capture activities for Concept Solutions as well as managing CS’ IDIQ contracts. He has extensive experience in the federal market space and brings a research and analysis-focused approach to BD and capture activities for CS. He has experience in both consulting and direct BD activities and has an extensive background in market research and analysis in the federal space. Due to his experience, Mr. Antonucci brings an extensive knowledge of federal tools, portals and acquisition practices as well as BD, capture, and proposal best practices.
Director of Contracts
Mr. Lavu utilizes his many areas of expertise to support Concept Solutions’ contracts activities. He has experience with large, multinational government contractors and emerging 8(a) small businesses. He has presented seminars on numerous government contracting subjects such as time & materials contracting, small business recertification, and earned value management.
Mr. Lavu’s expertise in government contracts comes from a diverse mix of viewpoints. As a senior member of the government contracts consulting practice at Aronson & Company, Mr. Lavu provided strategic direction to clients in various industries. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Contracts of Command Federal, a venture capital financed company focused on providing IPv6 solutions to the federal government.
Mr. Lavu proudly served as a soldier in the U.S. Army Reserves and graduated from Airborne School in Ft. Benning, GA. He received a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center where he focused on contracts and intellectual property.
Aeronautical Senior Advisor
Mr. Gould has more than 32 years’ experience in the Federal Aviation Administration Air Traffic Management System, with the last 16 as a Senior Manager leading several high-profile organizations such as; System Operations Security, Air Traffic Investigations and Quality Assurance, Unmanned Aircraft Integration and Classified Operations. Mr. Gould has been recognized numerous times for his expertise and was awarded two Department of Transportation Gold Medals for his visionary leadership supporting the Global War on Terror with two Tours of Duty in Iraq and spearheading the development and implementation of the current National Airspace Security Programs (NSPD-47/HSPD-16).
