ConceptSolutions Names Shields as Chief Technology Officer

America Online Veteran Strengthens IT Consulting Company's Capabilities to Serve Growing Number of Commercial and Government Clients

Reston, VA - March 28, 2005 - ConceptSolutions (www.Concept-Solutions.com), a growing information management and technology consulting company, announced today that it has expanded its management team with the appointment of Mike Shields as the company's chief technology officer (CTO).

With more than 10 years of experience in RDBMS database design, data management, automation, and online content infrastructure and deployment, Shields will be responsible for overseeing ConceptSolutions' development of customized technology solutions and supporting the company's expansion into commercial and government markets.

Prior to his appointment to CTO, Shields served as a senior consultant with ConceptSolutions. Since May 2002, he has managed and developed new features for Time Warner Cable's Road Runner High-Speed Online marketing campaign management system.

Before joining ConceptSolutions, Shields spent six years as a software engineer with America Online, Inc., where he gained expertise in online content infrastructure, deployment, and technical training. Among his many successes with AOL, Shields designed and implemented the infrastructure for the United States Welcome Screen to serve localized content to more than 30 million AOL members based on their preferred zip code. In addition, Shields designed and developed the infrastructure for AOL's weather content to handle quarter-hourly updates from The Weather Channel to more than 40,000 locations. Shields also served as the technical lead and designer for a variety of AOL news and entertainment content sites, including CBS and ABC News, CBS and ABC Sports, MTV, Nickelodeon, The Late Show with David Letterman, and Electronic Arts.
