The Business Challenge: A leading digital wireless communications company sought technical expertise in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting a national Supply Chain Management system.
The Technology Solution: ConceptSolutions was instrumental in the national rollout of this system, bringing in technical resources to address the following needs:
- Hardware configuration and testing of third-party scanners.
- Design and development for custom code to convert 500,000 assets and update the Oracle Financials general ledger.
- Performance and troubleshooting of base code with recommended improvements.
- Database administration of multiple development and test environments.
- Troubleshooting and improvements of Web-enabled reporting.

Backup/Recovery Monitor
ConceptSolutions created a Web-based application to capture information about database backups, that provided management and staff with the ability to monitor database activity in a user-friendly environment, which:
- Captured and displayed real-time backup log files.
- Maintained history of backup data for determination of growth trends, recoverability, and performance.
- Collected and summarized backup schedules from individual servers to present an enterprise view.
- Allowed for easy recovery by maintaining backup dates and tape information.
- User-friendly interface to report on critical Recovery Manager Metadata.
- Created enterprise-level summary graphs showing 7-day history with drill-down capability.
Network Element Security
The Business Challenge: A leading wireless communications company needed a system to administer, monitor and audit access to the Network Elements, which were the core services provided by the company.
The Technology Solution: ConceptSolutions implemented a Web-based database application, using Oracle Enterprise Server and Oracle WebDB, for the Network Element Security Group. This system enabled the group to access the database via a standard Web browser and perform security and administrative functions, as well as monitor security audit features. This system contained roles and privileges for all personnel with access to the Network Elements and controlled how they accessed it.

The Technology Solution: ConceptSolutions is creating an Enterprise Database Group that will give the client the ability to implement standards for corporate database applications and to centralize DBA operations for efficient support of development, testing, and production of operational support systems.
