Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA)
AFCEA serves as a bridge between government requirements and industry capabilities, and represents the top government, industry, and military professionals in information technology, communications, and intelligence. An international, non-profit association, AFCEA is dedicated to supporting global security by providing an ethical environment that encourages a close collaboration among civil government agencies, the military, and industry.
The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI)
The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI) is the premier educational association in the data warehousing industry. TDWI is dedicated to educating business and information technology professionals about the strategies, techniques and tools required to successfully design, build and maintain data warehousing implementations. The association also is dedicated to the advancement of data warehousing research, knowledge transfer, and the professional development of its members.
The Direct Marketing Association (DMA)
The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) is the largest trade association for businesses interested in direct, database and interactive global marketing, with about 4,700 member companies from the United States and 53 foreign nations on six continents. Founded in 1917, DMA members include catalog companies, direct mailers, teleservices firms, Internet marketers, and other at-distance marketers from every consumer and business-to-business segment, both commercial and nonprofit, as well as companies that provide supplies and services to marketers.
Direct Marketing Association of Washington (DMAW)
The purpose of this association is to promote the exchange of information among members; to encourage and support the highest ethical business standards; to promote use and understanding of direct marketing; and to encourage and support the teaching and study of direct marketing in an academic environment, as well as through the association itself.
Help Desk Institute (HDI)
Help Desk Institute is the world’s largest membership association for the service and support industry. Founded in 1989, HDI’s mission is to lead and promote the customer service and technical support industry.
Industry Advisory Council (IAC)
In 1989, The American Council for Technology (ACT) created the Industry Advisory Council (IAC) to foster improved communications and understanding between government and industry. Today, ACT reaches as many as 50,000 government IT professionals and has over 400 member IT companies in its Industry Advisory Council.
International Oracle Users Group (IOUG)
As the chief source of education and peer networking for Oracle professionals, the International Oracle Users Group - Americas (IOUG-A) serves the demanding requirements of database administrators, applications developers, and technical managers.

Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 190,000 individual members, the Society’s mission is both to serve human resource management professionals and to advance the profession. Founded in 1948, SHRM currently has more than 500 affiliated chapters within the United States and members in more than 100 countries.
Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF)
The Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) supports contractors in their efforts to secure and fulfill contracts with military and civilian government agencies. SECAF does this by bringing together individuals and organizations with the expertise and resources necessary to stay ahead of the next wave of developments in the federal marketplace.
Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA)
With a membership base of more than 408,000, or two thirds of all pilots in the United States, AOPA is the largest, most influential aviation association in the world.
